MR CUI LIANGUO
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Cui Lianguo is our Chairman and CEO and is responsible for the business strategies and development of our Group. Mr Cui started his career in August 1997 as the General Manager of Linyi Huaxing Group Co., Ltd., a company that manufactures ceramic products. In March 1999, Mr Cui was appointed as the General Manager of Shandong Lianjian Huaxing Ceramics Co., Ltd., a company engaged in the production and sale of ceramics products and he became the General Manager and Director of Shandong Jiutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. at the end of 2002. He has been the General Manager and Director of Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. since its establishment in 2003. Mr Cui obtained a diploma in finance and accounting through distant learning from the Shandong Technological University, China, in July 2004. Mr Cui obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration (“MBA”) from Tsinghua University (China) in March 2006. In 2008, in recognition of Mr Cui contribution to the chemical industry in the PRC, he was accorded the title of “中国民营化工功勋企业家”. Mr Cui is currently a Member of People’s Congress of Shandong Province (“山东省人大代表”).
MR WONG WILLIAM
Executive Director
Mr Wong William was appointed as an Executive Director in November 2007. As an Executive Director of the Company, Mr Wong is responsible for overseeing business development of our Group. He has over 20 years of working experience in various industries including the accounting and finance industry, insurance industry and petrochemical industry. He started his career at Ernst & Whinney (now known as Ernst & Young) in April 1982. Over his career, he has worked in a public listed company and various multinational companies in accounting and finance function, including companies such as The Great Eastern Life Assurance Co. Ltd. and Frankona Reinsurance Co. (Germany). Mr Wong also has over seven years of working experience in the China as the Finance and Administrative Manager of Carnaud Metalbox (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. and NatSteel Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. between 1993 and 2000. Prior to joining our Group in 2006, Mr Wong was the Financial Controller of Rotary Engineering Limited from November 2003 till February 2006. Mr Wong graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from National University of Singapore in 1982 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
MR LI QIANG
Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
Mr Li Qiang was appointed as the Deputy CEO in February 2008 and was appointed as an Executive Director in September 2008. He is responsible for regional business development. Mr Li joined our subsidiary Jiutai Energy (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. as its General Manager in 2003. Mr Li graduated from Shenyang Jianzhu University, PRC, with a Bachelor’s degree in City Building and Economics Management. He has also obtained his MBA from Tsinghua University. Mr Li is currently a Member of People’s Congress of Guangzhou City (“广州市人大代表”).
MR LESLIE YING WEI HSEIN
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Ying served as an independent consultant from April 2008, before he was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of our Group in September 2008. He is responsible for the corporate finance functions of the Group, and oversees matters relating to accounting, financial administration and compliance with reporting obligations.
He was the Chief Financial Officer of China Precision Technology Limited from November 2004 to March 2008, and took a lead position in preparations for the company’s IPO and negotiations leading to the induction of a strategic pre-IPO investor. Mr Ying started his career in July 1997 with Deloitte & Touche Singapore as an Audit Assistant and left as an Audit Manager in October 2004. While there, he led and managed various statutory and special purpose audits of companies in a wide spectrum of industries. In addition, he led a fraud investigation in India in 2003 and participated in various IPO assignments.
Mr Ying obtained a bachelor of accountancy (honours) with a minor in banking and finance from Nanyang Technological University in 1997. He is currently a non-practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
MS KAN QUN
Assistant to the CEO
Ms Kan was appointed as the Group’s Assistant to the CEO in March 2010. She supports the CEO in discharging his daily duties and leads adhoc projects as assigned.
Prior to this appointment, Ms Kan served as the General Manager of Jiutai Energy (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. between October 2007 and March 2010, where she oversaw its overall operation and management. Ms Kan started her career with our Group in December 2003, where she joined Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. as an Assistant Vice President and Head of Human Resources & Administration.
Prior to joining our Group, she served as an Administrative Manger in Cailun-Boise (Suzhou) Paper Technology Co., Ltd., from June 1998 to December 2003. Ms Kan holds a bachelor’s in law from the University of Naval Engineering in China.
MR LI QI
General Manager of Research & Development Centre
Head of DME Operation
Head of Quality Assurance
Mr Li is the Vice President and Head of DME Operation, as well as Head of Quality Assurance and Research & Development. Mr Li joined the research and development department of Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in 2003.
He started his career in January 1999 as the Deputy General Manager of the research and development department of Linyi Luming Chemical Co., Ltd. In December 2002, he joined Shandong Jiutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. as its Deputy General Manager and also took charge of its research and development department. He graduated from the Qingdao Institute of Chemistry in China, where he obtained a diploma in chemical processes in July 2001.
MR LIU YUANHUA
General Manager of Jiutai Energy (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd.
Mr Liu was appointed as the General Manager of Jiutai Energy (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. in November 2007, where he oversees its overall operation and management. Mr Liu joined our Group in December 2003 as the Deputy General Manager and Financial Controller of Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a position he held till November 2007. He was also the Executive Director of the Company from November 2006 to November 2007.
Prior to joining our Group, Mr Liu was a Finance Manager with Shandong Lianjian Huaxing Ceramics Co., Ltd. from August 1997 to November 2000, Linyi Huaxing Group Co., Ltd. from December 2000 to November 2002, and Shandong Jiutai Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. from December 2002 to October 2007.
Mr Liu was conferred a certificate in accounting (intermediate) from the People’s Republic of China Ministry of Finance in 2003 and received a master’s in business administration from Renmin University in China in 2006.
MR ZHANG LIZHENG
Acting General Manager of Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. & Linyi Jiuxin Energy Co., Ltd.
Mr Zhang was appointed the Acting General Manager of Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd. & Linyi Jiuxin Energy Co., Ltd. in February 2010, where he oversees their overall operation and management.
Mr Zhang started his career with our Group in December 2005 as an Internal Compliance Manager. From November 2007 to February 2010, he was to the Deputy General Manager of the Group’s Finance Centre.
Prior to joining our Group, he was the Finance Manager of Shandong Lanling Alcohol Co., Ltd. Mr Zhang received a bachelor’s in accounting in 1993. He obtained the qualification as practising Certified Public Accountant in China in 2008.
MR ZHANG QINGHAI
General Manager of Jiutai Energy (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd.
Mr Zhang is the General Manager of Jiutai Energy (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., responsible for its overall operation and management since March 2010.
Prior to his appointment, Mr Zhang served as the Project Manager for the Group’s Methanol Phase II project and was also responsible for the Group’s methanol production from December 2004 to November 2009. Previously, Mr Zhang held the post of Factory Manager at Shandong Hongri Acron Group.
